First Time Buyer - Requesting a Meeting

Thank you for contacting me regarding your plans to purchase your first home.  Purchasing a home is an important step, and that is why I recommend that my clients set up a face-to-face meeting with me to get their questions answered, to ensure that their goals are set, and we put a plan in place to meet those objectives.

When we meet, we can go over your–

  • Short- and long-term goals.  Your short-term goals would cover topics such as your down payment and monthly budget, as well how much home you can afford with this budget.
  • The economic benefits of owning, including the tax benefits and how owning a home can protect you from rising costs associated with renting.
  • The different mortgage options available, including the costs and advantages of each.
  • What factors will affect your qualification for a mortgage, including your income, debts, cash needed and credit situation.  If there are adjustments that need to be made, we can set up a plan to put you in the best position as quickly as possible.
  • What to expect during the home purchase process, and how we can make the experience easier for you.

I find that such an important financial event requires the guidance of someone you are comfortable with, and that is why I feel it is so important that we meet.  As a matter of fact, getting to know each other is so important, I would like you to invite anyone you have advising you to participate in this meeting, as they may ask a question that you haven’t thought about.

Many mortgage advisors and companies prefer to work at a distance when serving their clients.   I feel that face-to-face communication allows for a better understanding of the process, so that we can guide you every step of the way.   Personal service, advice and a wide variety of choices are always my top priority in serving my clients.

Please let me know what date(s) and time would be good for you and I will check my calendar.
